Can I use an expired trademark?

An expired trademark is no longer protected by law, so it can't be used. Companies and individuals can't use a trademark that has expired, even if they were the original owners of the trademark. A trademark may be cancelled or invalidated if it hasn't been used in a period of at least three years and the renewal fees haven't been paid. In such a case, the trademark is considered as having been abandoned and is no longer valid. It is important to note that even if a trademark has expired, the original owner may still have certain rights in relation to the trademark. Therefore, any use of the expired trademark may be legally challenged.
